Key responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and other core services.
  • Implement and maintain identity, access management, and network configurations (IAM, VPC).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues utilizing AWS CloudWatch and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks.
  • Ensure robust security practices and compliance across all cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and resilient cloud solutions.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Proven expertise with AWS core services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
  • Solid foundation in Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash).
  • Experience developing automation with Python.
  • Deep understanding of network basics and cloud security best practices.
  • Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative, remote setting.

Preferred qualifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting capacity.
  • Background in designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems in AWS environments.
