• Apply advanced mobile recording techniques using professional-grade equipment.
• Adapt to new locations and conditions, ensuring consistent audio quality and clarity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing concise written and verbal reports.
• Manage and maintain organized audio libraries for seamless retrieval and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in safety, privacy, and environmental protocols while on location.

Required skills & qualifications

• Expertise in multi-environment audio capture and mobile recording technology.
• Demonstrated capability in ambient noise documentation and sound categorization.
• Proficiency with a range of field recording equipment and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality in audio acquisition and data annotation.
• Adaptability to diverse locations and variable acoustic scenarios.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation and team coordination.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to logistical detail.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience with large-scale audio collection projects or acoustic research.
• Background in audio engineering, sound design, or environmental acoustics.
• Familiarity with privacy and legal considerations in field recording.
