Key responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on protein folding, enzymatic activity, signaling pathways, and post-translational modifications.
  • Analyze protein structure, function, and interactions to advance scientific understanding and support AI training initiatives.
  • Investigate how proteins regulate essential biological processes such as metabolism, growth, and cellular communication.
  • Evaluate the impact of drugs, small molecules, and other compounds on protein stability and functionality.
  • Document and communicate complex experimental findings effectively for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to translate biochemical insights into AI training datasets and protocols.
  • Maintain meticulous records of experimental methods, data, and results to ensure reproducibility and integrity.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in protein science, including structure-function analysis and biochemical assay development.
  • Strong foundation in both biology and chemistry, with a keen understanding of biomolecular interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and analyze complex biochemical data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear, concise information exchange.
  • Proficient in documenting research processes and results for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in remote or distributed scientific teams is a plus.

Preferred qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience contributing to AI or computational biology projects.
  • Knowledge of high-throughput biochemical screening or protein engineering techniques.
