Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to support AI data training pipelines and analytics.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and implement effective data solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets, extract insights, and ensure data integrity for machine learning workflows.
  • Implement and maintain database structures to facilitate efficient data processing and retrieval.
  • Document processes and write clear technical and user-facing documentation for SQL workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of SQL scripts and stored procedures.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer, with a track record of delivering high-quality database solutions.
  • Deep expertise in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting advanced SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and relational database design principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts succinctly.
  • Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively within fast-paced, evolving project requirements.
  • Keen attention to detail and a passion for data-driven problem solving.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI or machine learning data pipelines or similar data-driven projects.
  • Background in AI training data curation or annotation workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions and data engineering tools.
